All are welcome at Bellwood. Whether you are a seeker, a skeptic, a doubter, or explorer, we invite you to become a committed follower of Jesus Christ, fully engaged in God’s mission in the world.
At Bellwood, we are a diverse group of people who sees Jesus as the center of our faith, Community as the center of our lives, and Reconciliation as the center of our work.
Jesus said he is “The way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). Our mission is to “Know The Way, Go The Way, and Show The Way." We strive to follow in the way of Jesus together in our lives, in our words, and in our deeds. We are not perfect people but we know God is not finished with us yet.
Steve and Shelly Griffin are best friends and covenant partners for life. They have 3 grown children, 2 grandsons and love living in idyllic Milford.
Steve is an experienced pastor with a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Southwest Bible College & Seminary and he enjoys reading, writing, singing, and playing guitar. His strong conviction is that Christ is to be the foundation and focal point in all matters of faith and conduct. Steve’s singular passion is to encourage one and all to show the world a Jesus-looking God.
Who are the Mennonites?
Mennonites are Anabaptists, a Christian movement that believes we are called to follow Jesus's example in our lives, and to participate in Jesus's ministry of bringing peace and justice to our world.
Bellwood Mennonite Church is a part of a larger body of Mennonite congregations, Mennonite Church USA.
